Step 1 – Domain Name
Your domain name is what people type in to go to your blog. Choose a domain name that reflects your blog topic or theme. Have a few options as your first choice might be already taken. eg. fancyfreeedom.com.au. Keep it short, easy to spell and also use key search term your clients may use to find you/your services. Step 2 – Blog Platform
We ONLY recommend WordPress as google favours WordPress blogs and you can update your own content. You need to use a superior template to ensure that is it easy to update and build in all the functions you want.
Step 3 – Hosting and Domain Name Registration

Step 4 – Build your blog site
Install wordpress on your site. WordPress is what you will use to design & manage your website. Think of it as your website builder, where you select your web design layout and build out the content. Make suer you choose a template that is easy to update, has a nice WISIWIG builder – my favourite is Divi by elegant themes. BlueHost makes this part super easy (as not all other hosting services do!).
